I was playing around with stac-auth-proxy (https://github.com/developmentseed/stac-auth-proxy) and I see in the compose file they provide, they're setting an environment variable for ghcr.io/radiantearth/stac-browser called SB_authConfig.  However, when I downloaded it, find no reference to that variable in the code.  How is it used?

Thanks,
Rob

Hey Rob, thanks for the question. Can you open an issue on the Github repo (https://github.com/developmentseed/stac-auth-proxy/issues) and we can handle it there? Thanks!

Cheers,
Pete

I found it.  the docker entry point script iterates over environment variables prefixed with SB_.  I am happy to open an issue if it needs to be done.

Thanks,
Rob

I am puzzled as to how POSTs to the collections endpoint of the API are being blocked.  The API is just using the bog-standard stac-fastapi-pgstac image and I don't see any configuration in the compose file that appears to prevent this  I also commented out all the services except the DB and the API, so I know that it doesn't have anything to do with them.

I didn't want to raise an issue in Github here because it's working as expected.  I just don't understand why it is.  That said, I am happy to raise one if that's the appropriate place to discuss this.

Thanks,
Rob

Hey Rob, if issues don't make sense, the Github discussions can good be a good forum for asking questions specific to that repository: https://github.com/developmentseed/stac-auth-proxy/discussions.

Cheers,
Pete
