Are there any known issues/gotchas with bosh-cli on windows command prompt

I am trying to get bosh-sample-release from cloudfoundry community github working locally.

I am able to install bosh-cli gem and others succesfully and here is my version

C:\Users\xxx\boshdeployments\wordpress\bosh-sample-release>bosh version

BOSH 1.2089.0

I am able to run certain commands like bosh vms or bosh releases / bosh deploys just fine. I am running into issues when trying to upload a release I get the folowing stack trace on (bosh upload release releases\wordpress-1.yml:

Can some one help me trouble shoot.

My director is a vsphere in our data center.

We have never tested the bosh cli on Windows. I recommend, if you can, that you run the bosh commands inside a linux box (it can be a vm inside Fusion, VirtualBox, ...).

Thanks for the response, I did move on to a virtual box vm and things are smooth for now.
