Is it able to rollback the change if bosh deploy fails

If I modify something in cf deployment manifest, for example, use a new cf release, or use a new stemcell, or add more instances to some components, and meet error during bosh deploy, is it able to drop the change and rollback to eailer state? thanks.

BOSH will rollback VMs to previous versions of the software; however, that does not account for data migrations that were run by the newer versions. For example cloud controller migrates DB on startup. Downgrading cc will require most likely to bring back a snapshot of database from before deploy or trying to run down migrations.
