PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function ldap_connect()

I am using https://github.com/cloudfoundry/php-buildpack with Bluemix and get the above error. Do I need to install ldap extension? Can someone explain the steps?

Should have read the docs carefully. The docs do mention to define  a .bp-config/options.json file and add "PHP_EXTENSIONS": ["ldap"]

That's one way to do it. If you're using composer, you can also include it through composer.json.

Ex:

https://github.com/cloudfoundry/php-buildpack/blob/master/cf_spec/fixtures/app_with_remote_dependencies/composer.json
