Is there a way to disable some of the actions in Oozie? I would like to disable shell and ssh. The only way I can see now is by modifying the app code for oozie. I am looking for easier way to use hue.ini. Something similar to the blacklisted apps config.

Currently is it indeed not configurable and requires a code change. https://issues.cloudera.org/browse/HUE-7715 tracks it.

A "workaround" would be to disable these actions at the Oozie level

Would you please be able to direct me on how to change them at the oozie level?

Should be on the http://oozie.apache.org/docs/4.3.0/index.html on how to unregister some actions (they will still show up in Hue but fail to be executed by Oozie)

Delete "shell" section from notebook->interpreters of hue.ini, the shell action will be removed from the wokflow page.

Several actions are added by just activating oozie module in Hue and I do not want all of what comes with Oozie.
