Good evening,  I am  new to Cloudera hadoop and can use some help resolving this issue.

I am using CDH 5.7 and Windows 10

Whenever I click on Hue, I'm getting the following:

Configuration files located in /etc/hue/conf.empty

Potential misconfiguration detected. Fix and restart Hue.

hadoop.hdfs_clusters.default.webhdfs_url Current value: http://localhost:50070/webhdfs/v1

Failed to create temporary file "/tmp/hue_config_validation.11446445769762287882"

Hive The application won't work without a running HiveServer2.

HBase Browser Failed to authenticate to HBase Thrift Server, check authentication configurations.

I would appreciate any help resolving this issue -- a step by step instructions would be helpful.

Thanks in advance

This is because you need to have Hue point to a running HDFS NameNode: http://gethue.com/how-to-configure-hue-in-your-hadoop-cluster/
