Can't find "Actions" icon in Metastore Manager

Hi,

I wanted to create a Hive table by uploading a csv data file.

I tried to follow your tutorial video and can't see the "Actions" icon in metastore manager to create a new table from a file.

Here is a screen shot of what I see:

I appreciate any advice.

Hi Craig,

   Giving the user a superuser status seems to fix this. @Romain can you elaborate why ?

You can do that by logging in as admin and selecting checkbox in Settings -> Manage users -> <user> -> advancedTab

You need to go to the User Admin app and add the Metastore DDL permission to on of the group of your user (generally the default one)

So if you are not a Hue admin, you will need to ask your administrator for that.
