Hi,

I have been trying to access redshift tables in hue.

I tried to include the same in a notebook as  interpreter, but it is giving out an error.
An error occurred while calling z:java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection. : java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver found for jdbc:redshift://

hue_safety_valve.ini

[notebook]
show_notebooks=true
[[interpreters]]
[[[mysql]]]
name=RedShift
interface=jdbc
options='{"url": "jdbc:redshift://xxxx.redshift.amazonaws.com:5439/happy", "driver": "com.amazon.redshift.jdbc42.Driver", "user": "ytwkijvnq", "password": "asdasd"}'

Hue Service Environment Advanced Configuration Snippet (Safety Valve)

CLASSPATH=/opt/jars/RedshiftJDBC42-1.1.17.1017.jar

The hue process is also picking up right classpath (from hue process std.out)
JDBC drivers jars are expected in the CLASSPATH: '/opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH-5.8.0-1.cdh5.8.0.p0.42/lib/hue/desktop/libs/librdbms/java-lib/dbproxy-1.0.jar:/opt/jars/RedshiftJDBC42-1.1.17.1017.jar'

Can anyone please help me in  correcting my configuration to make redshift work inside notebook ?
Is it possible to configure it as RDBMS interface like beeswax ?

Thanks
Sudev

Yes.

Has anyone successfully connected redshift with hue, is there any sort of documentation ?

Help appreciated.
