Hue 3.12 Spark Thrift Server

All,

On one of our Kerberized clusters in Hue 3.12 when i attempt to run a spark-sql query from Hue I get the following error:

Could not start SASL: Error in sasl_client_start (-1) SASL(-1): generic failure: GSSAPI Error: Unspecified GSS failure. Minor code may provide more information (Server krbtgt/LOCALDOMAIN@<OUR HADOOP REALM>.COM

But I can run a Hive JDBC query fine from Hue. From Zeppelin I can run a spark-sql query fine. 

Plus outside of Hue I can invoke the spark-sql shell and run a query fine or call the spark thirft server using beeline and the query runs. 

Any ideas as to why Hue isnt picking up the correct kerberos information?

Is Hue itself working for listing HDFS files?

Or might need https://issues.cloudera.org/browse/HUE-5994
