Reliability issues with results of Hue-Impala editor?

Hi, 

I've claims from my business analysts and data engineers that the Hue Impala query editor retrieves false/missing/no results, while other query editors (such as qwery builder) predictably return the correct results from Impala. 

I am unable to reproduce this issue as it is volatile (i.e. Happens randomly for some queries and disappears if requeried) 

Are there any known reliability  issues in the results of the Hue-Impala query editor? 

If so, in what CDH release is this fixed?

Which CDH version?

Queries gets invalidated or can expire quickly with Impala, it can timeout sometimes or query download will be truncated if they try to get too many rows.

All above is getting polished in CDH5.8 and even more in the upcoming 5.9.

If you have any way to repro send us the info. Most of the time, it happens that Impala hangs and it timeouts in Hue. Also, are they just doing query or trying to download the results?
