Dear All,
Is there any option from Hue to define "doas" user when submitting oozie job? Based on the link there is no problem doing from command line, defining "doas" from Hue e.g. in the coordinator editor would be an option.

Regards,
r.

By default 'doas' will be the username of the logged-in user (and username is 'hue').

Yes, but is there any option to change into another one if there is proper configuration in oozie-site.xml and core-site.xml, logged-in user is allowed. We need this to make it easier differentiating global jobs from local. And if there are couple of users who administrate global jobs then it is much easier to administrate them when there is a need to pause, resume and etc.

Dear Romain,

I would like to get back to the oozie "doas" feature ( https://community.hortonworks.com/content/supportkb/48951/how-to-run-a-oozie-job-as-a-different-user-instead.html ) . Could you please consider this feature in Hue 4.2+ version?

Thank you in advance!
R.
