Job submission using oozie web service

I got a series of Hive/Impala SQL queries that take some parameters from the Oozie coordinator. Since the job needs to be initiated by an external process, is there a way to submit the job passing in the parameters using the Oozie web service, . If this can be done via Hue, any documentation on how to do this would also be helpful.
