  1. Users present in HUE need to linux user also ?
  2. when synchronize the service(hue,sentry,kerberos,hive), do i have to add user and group in hue and linux?

In case you are in the same situation as I am I thought I'd add to the conversation.

Yes, HUE users & groups will need to map to local linux users/groups. For my install, we authenticate HUE users to a campus LDAP and therefore it isn't feasible to replicate all users/groups to the local namenode machines. For this I use sssd on the linux machines to do nss lookups for users/groups against the LDAP. Custom (local) groups can also be formed on the namenodes using the gpasswd -a {user} {group} command if you go this route. These local groups can then be added to HUE via the adminUI.
