HBase Thrift 1 server cannot be contacted

Getting the error "HBase Thrift 1 server cannot be contacted". 

Hue.INI has correct information about :

 hbase_clusters=(hadoop|hdp-m.asotc:9090)

Maybe you have to start manualy your Thrift server

/usr/bin/hbase thrift start

Step 1: Make sure Thrift server is running (if not start manually using <hbase service> thrift start)

Step 2: Make sure that the host and port (default 9090) is configured. If using hue: check configuration in hue.ini: under [hbase]->hbase_clusters. This should contain the thrift server and not the active hbase master (if they are different)
