Coordinator Editor unable to see workflows created in Job Designer

We are using Cloudera Enterprise 5.4.3. After creating a workflow using the Job Designer in Hue, when I go into the Coordinator editor and want to reference this workflow, I am unable to. I do not see it listed in the workflows available (these show up when I click on 'Choose a workflow...').

I've searched through the Hue documentation and even suffered through the Hue videos (do we really need that music??) but in vain. Help!

Hi Uday,

which browser are you using? Do you have any other peculiar behaviour around Hue too?

So when you click on "Choose a workflow" you see just some older workflows you created?

And the videos without music would be just plain boring and weird. We try to change the song every few months though :)

Hi Enrico,

Browser is Chrome. No other peculiar behavior. Is there a distinction between the actions one can create in Job Designer (which can be submitted like workflows and even have a workflow.xml file generated) and the workflows created in the Workflow Editor? If there is, what is it? If there isn't, why am I not able to see them or at least export and import them?

Currently Coordinators only work with workflows created in the Workflow Editor.

Note that there is a plan to allow an easy import of actions from Job Designer or Workflows to other Workflows: https://issues.cloudera.org/browse/HUE-2974
