Kites SDK

Hi All,

just curios, how is Kites SDK adoption. I didn't see much updated information on internet. Is this product in active development?

Which application development tool does Cloudera recommends to its customers, pls share.

I can't speak for Cloudera, but we (Rocana) build our applications on top of Kite and it has served us quite well. We don't currently do active development on Kite itself because it meets our current needs, though we have a few patches that we may be contributing soon.

If you need a good JVM-language based data abstraction layer for HDFS, Kite works really really well.
