Hi...one more question.  Thx!

We know a Vasopressor was ordered, but it does not have an approved NDC, should it still be included or excluded

Not sure why my response isn't here from a several days ago.

The NDC list should be seen as a characteristic list for this process.  If you have a vasopressin which doesn't fall within the list of NDCs, you should include it (as long as the vasopressin is a parenteral administration, not subq or other non-parenteral administration.  NDCs may not be present for admixtures within an organization, but should be present for the base medications.  Depending on your IT configuration (how your pharmacy IS integrates with the EHR, this information may/may not be present.

Thanks,

I have a couple of questions

I have cases with no patient temperatures.  The two I looked at the patient had coded in the ER.  How should we handle this type of case?

Also, I have a case where the only blood pressures are doppler BPs, which are not systolic or diastolic.  How should I handle this?

Thanks,

When we have missing required datapoints, please remove these cases from your data submission and send IPRO a helpdesk ticket with the number of cases, the missing fields, and details of why they're missing.  IPRO and the NYSDOH are going to review these and see how they want to proceed.

Thanks
