POA ER Cases

Hi,  How are you handling the POA indicators for ED cases?  POA indicators are not required for ED cases, so can these all the submitted as "E" correct?  I queried the help desk and didn't really get an answer.  Their response was to provide more information.

For our institution, we have just been putting the unknown flag (I don't remember if that is "E" or not, off hand)
