Hi;
LDAP authentication is a very desirable feature for us. The current Stardog direct-bind implementation with a single user DN template does not I think handle out-of-the-box our LDAP setup where we have users in different branches of DITs and even different databases? I was able to reconfigure our own LDAP service to present all users under a single dn pattern, but I think a better long-term solution for Stardog product would be to allow LDAP search/bind authentication (a la mod_auth_ldap) that would allow searching multiple DIT for a matching user DN before attempting a bind. Or perhaps I am missing something in the current implementation?
cheers,
Conrad

Conrad,

Thanks for the feedback. We made a ticket for this and will address it in a future release.

Cheers,

You are right about the current implementation. We will consider this
improvement for future releases. The ticket #2369 has been created for
this issue.

Best,
Evren
