Hi
It is the first time that I use Stardog, I want to use it in a java project. I downloaded it and I found many folders with many jars. I want to import an OWL ontology in a database then read/write from the it. I have 3 questions:
- Is it necessary to create the STARDOG_HOME and copy the stardog-license-key.bin
- I want to know the necessary jars
- to run the project, is it necessary to run the server before
thank you

Yes.

The best place for you to start is to review the documentation [1] and checkout the examples [2] of how to use Stardog.

Cheers,

Mike

thank you,
I read the documentation (java programming) but I did not find answers for my questions:
- Can I save the database in the disk and not like an in-memory database?
- If I use the server jars, is it necessary to run the server separate from the code?
- I need to import a large ontology to the database and read/write from it without pulling the complete database in the memory. Is Stardog a correct choice?
In other words does Stardog satisfy the constraints of big data?
