All,

We're very happy to announce the release of Stardog 2.2!  New in this release are RDF graph versioning and the administrative web console.  There are also a significant amount of bug fixes included in this release; thanks to all on the list who have reported issues.  A full listing of the changes are included in the release notes.

As always, you can get the release at [1]

Thanks,

The Stardog Team

Mike.

There seems to be an issue with the mavenInstall script, or maybe my modification of it.

For the openrdf-sesame-2.7.12.jar, that one includes a bunch of pom.xml files rather than the single one that was in 2.7.10. So the mavenInstall script will take all of the poms as the POMFILE attribute, which will fail. How should these be installed?

Thanks,
-tj

I think it might be related to local modifications you have, the script out of the box, works fine on my machine.  I did incorrectly set the pom file on that file, as you noticed, which we'll fix for 2.2.1, but it seems to work with the more verbose setup in the current jar.

Cheers,

Mike

Thanks,

Mike,

So are you saying that it is ok if the install of sesame fails? I tried the stock script, and it the install fails only on the openrdf piece. Should I install each pom separately? There is no parent pom file.

Thanks,

-tj

No, of course not

While the script completes successfully, the sesame jar part does fail, I must have looked at the wrong section of the logs earlier.

We'll fix the pom in the jar for 2.2.1, as I said, but in the meantime, you can change the mavenInstall script to install Sesame 2.7.10, and use the Sesame jar from the 2.1.3 release.  There should not be any backward incompatible changes between the two.

Alternatively, you can unjar the 2.7.12 file, and replace the many poms with the single one that is contained in 2.7.10, just remember to update the version number when you copy the file over.

Cheers,

Mike
