Subject: Warp Demo + Updates
To: MOQ Mailing List <
m...@ietf.org>
Hey MOQ,
To demonstrate how Warp works, I put together a crude
demo server and web player. There's quite a few limitations and the setup is more convoluted than it needs to be, but it should be a good starting point for anybody interested in the technology. I suggest scrolling down and watching the buffer visualization during congestion!
I highly recommend running it locally because the UI has an easy way to throttle the network. But if you can't be bothered, there's a
public demo for Chrome only. It's a tiny EC2 instance running in us-west-2 so I won't guarantee that it works or provides a good experience.
I also updated the
warp draft, primarily adding a new section on configuration. Warp is a generic video transport protocol, but based on feedback from the previous thread on the mailing list, I thought it was important to outline how low-latency can be achieved. I
filed a few issues if anybody wants to chime in or add new ones.
Looking forward to the BoF!
