Some of the Windows implementation is already in place, but we're
planning on starting in earnest this quarter. If everything goes well,
we're hoping to get full support for Windows 10 in the stable channel
in Q3 2017. Keep in mind that this estimate might be shortened or
delayed as we implement it.

Thanks for sharing Jeff!

Yes, Windows support is a must-have if you want this API to be used broadly (and from us companies as well, talking about Logitech I'm part of).

FYI (I'll relay) you can now discover and pair devices (following a scan) using this sample code.

Cheers.

Its been a few months and am curious on where we stand with Windows based Chrome Web Bluetooth?  I have the latest Chrome installed on Windows 10 but when I try and perform a scan, I don't see any of my BLE peripherals listed.  Running Chrome on Android or Chrome OS shows them just fine.  I'm assuming based on the comment earlier in this thread that Q3 2017 is the earliest we should start to look for function working?

Yes, Windows is still partially implemented, and planned to continue this year.
The chromium team is currently focused on refactoring tests into web platform tests and upstreaming those.

Hi Jeffrey,

It is nearly one year since you wrote your post. Could you please let me know what is the current status and/or guestimate when it could be available for testing or at least confirm that there is still the intention to implement it?

Thank you in advance,
Pavel Kostka

You will see several windows implementation patches landing in 2017 Q4

This is later than we anticipated in February, but promising to see underway.  We do not have a firm stable release date yet.

Thanks a lot for your effort and we're really looking forward to start implementing with this great API.

Best Regards
Anders
