Hi everyone,
Chrome 88 goes to beta tomorrow, and it contains some changes to the Core Web Vitals metrics:
- Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS):
- Bug fix for fixed position elements
- Bug fix sticky elements
- Bug fix for content-visibility: auto

- Largest Contentful Paint (LCP):
- Treat full-viewport images as background
- Ignore removed content
- Bug fix for placeholder images
- (CrUX-only) stop recording after input in iframe
