(The form => email automation is broken, so I'm sending this manually, requesting a spec mentor on behalf of michel...@chromium.org).

Requestor email
API or proposal name
Entitlements API
Brief description
Websites that offer protected content need a way to check if a user has access. Today's tools, like third-party cookies, are becoming less available due to privacy changes. Checking with a server every time can make pages load slowly. This API introduces a fast, privacy-friendly way for a site to ask the browser, "Is this user allowed to access this content?". This API lets the site get a one-time token from the browser. The site can use this token to confirm the user's access with an Entitlement Provider (EP) without needing the user's main credentials or identity.

If you're interested in mentoring, please volunteer by replying to this email! Otherwise, d...@chromium.org will assign someone within the next 2 business days.

I'm flagging that public discussion of this proposal is likely to generate negative PR so we should be very careful to review explainers, etc. before publishing.
