FYI I'm formally doing this as part of the I2S process - I'm planning on sending an I2S as soon as the process seems to say I can :)

I've talked offline with +mgi...@chromium.org who's agreed to take on the formal mentorship role here, as he's already been doing much of the spec review. So, consider yourself paired up!

That said, both Daniel and Matt expressed that a third set of eyes would be welcome, so if any of the other mentors on the list want to do some review of the linked PR and design, please feel free to help out.
