Mixed Content Problem

Dear Chromium,

I had recently installed SSL certificate for my web application,

link - (https://www.daesrepresentation.com/).

Redirecting from http:// to https:// works well. When you enter http://www.daesrepresentation.com/ in browser it redirects automatically to  https://www.daesrepresentation.com/.

Problem is when some of our customers enter part number (airplane part number) in Google Chrome browser, for example

browsing result is :

Click on link above does not start excel file download (Safari & Firefox works well), but when I click on link in Error message:

it starts. 

I changed all http to https links in app code, clean cache memory, configured .htaccess file in many ways but still have the problem.

Please give me a hint what to do, because I don't know what to do any more.

Hi Mladen,

You have two problems here:

• You're still serving content over HTTP, when requested directly. For instance, the link your screenshot leads to http://www.daesrepresentation.com/epoly/0277c8f05afb14a713990ab5d419a5c4.xlsx -- visiting that URL downloads the file directly. It should immediately redirect to the HTTPS page with a HTTP 301 redirect.
• Once you're certain that no pages serve your HTTP content directly, you should be able to ask Google Search to recrawl your site to update what links Search serves to users.
