Hi all,

Cloudflare has deployed a new Roughtime server:

{

   "name": "Cloudflare-Roughtime-2",

   "publicKeyType": "ed25519",

   "publicKey": "0GD7c3yP8xEc4Zl2zeuN2SlLvDVVocjsPSL8/Rl/7zg=",

   "addresses": [

     {

                     "protocol": "udp",

       "address": "roughtime.cloudflare.com:2003"

     }

   ]

}

It supports both Google Roughtime and IETF Roughtime (draft 08).

The existing server, roughtime.cloudflare.com:2002, is scheduled to be shut down on July 1, 2024. After this point, both the port and public key will become unavailable.

Thanks,

Chris P. and Luke Valenta

Hi Roughtime users,

Just a reminder that roughtime.cloudflare.com:2002 is going down on July 1, 2024. After this point, both the port and public key will become unavailable. Please point your clients to the new config at the top of this thread (roughtime.cloudflare.com:2003).

Thanks,
Chris P.

As of 2024-08-19 21:00 UTC we're no longer serving any Roughtime requests on port 2002. Por 2003 is up and supports both Google-Roughtime and draft-ietf-ntp-roughtime-08. We are planning to add support for the latest IETF draft soon.
