Hi,
I'm curious if Chrome's prerendering feature could be modified so that future releases include an HTTP header indicating that a request was made via prerenderer. I understand that the Page Visibility API is the preferred method of distinguishing a prerendered request from a normal request; however, the HTTP header would simplify the detection of these requests for a lot of developers. Both Firefox and Safari provide a header when they prefetch content via the X-moz: prefetch and X-Purpose: preview headers. It'd be nice if Chrome did this as well.
Regards,
Travis Whitton
