Hello!

I read through this page:

and wondered if 'PaymentCredential' is still actively used? I have heard that instead of referencing the credential the extension 'payment.isPayment: true' may be used.

Hello,

You're correct that a 'payment' extension should be used for registration. The samples at https://w3c.github.io/secure-payment-confirmation/#sctn-sample-scenarios should be up-to-date. 

Stephen and Nick: Does https://github.com/w3c/secure-payment-confirmation/blob/main/developer-guide.md need an update or should it point to the latest docs somewhere?

Hi Sascha,

My apologies, that guide is quite out of date and we should have removed (or updated it) long before now. We expect to publish a new set of developer documentation very soon (can't say an exact date yet), and when we do I'll update the developer-guide.md to point at that (and let you know!). In the meantime, the specification does have some code samples but it's obviously not as friendly as proper developer documentation.
