New issue 1061508 by
yon...@google.com: Support canceling previous opened window when a new PaymentRequest is received
https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1061508This is feature request.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) User click on a pay button which triggered PaymentRequest (PR#1).
(2) Chrome window opens, but a user decided to switches to another tab visiting the same or different website. For example, they might be checking credit card balance by opening a new tab and continued to visit the same merchant using the same tab.
(3) User try to pay from the new tab, triggering PR#2 where PR#1 is still outstanding.
What is the expected result?
If we don't have per tab PR concept, PH should at least be able to cancel/abort PR#1 (close the other window) and serve the latest PR#2.
What happens instead?
Does chrome provide all the knobs to do above? If not, what need to be added to support this?
