Seven Thematic Areas
  • Communication: This area explores communication in all its dimensions, from digital persuasion to audiovisual media, including journalism, crisis communication, organisational communication, protocol, legal frameworks, health communication and media literacy.
  • Teaching: This area addresses the evolution of education, from new teaching models and pedagogies to the integration of ICT, digital literacy, inclusion and post-Covid adaptations in education.
  • Humanism and Social Sciences: This area includes developments in tourism and sustainability, cultural expressions, ethical frameworks, gender equality and psychosocial studies.
  • Innovation: New approaches and emerging perspectives, from current developments in higher education and social media to entrepreneurship and multidisciplinary lines of innovation.
  • Research and Artificial Intelligence: Advances in AI and cutting-edge lines in R&D&I, together with the assessment of new academic contributions and studies in pure sciences, health sciences and engineering.
  • Miscellany: This open area brings together cross-disciplinary contributions that enrich interdisciplinary dialogue and foster renewal across all thematic fields.
  • Thematic Panels: Proposals developed within the framework of a shared research topic, with a minimum of four papers per panel. Especially suitable for Research Groups.
CUICIID is an ideal forum for increasing the visibility of the work of doctoral candidates and emerging researchers in highly relevant academic fields. It is recognised as one of the most impactful congresses within the framework of quality-oriented teacher training conferences, as it successfully combines innovation and teaching. Moreover, thanks to the double-blind peer review of submitted work, its academic outcomes carry substantial curricular value.

Finally,
CUICIID seeks to focus its efforts on supporting Research Groups and Research Teams wishing to enhance the visibility of their findings through high-level academic publications.
