Implementing a SQLite Virtual Filesystem for the Network Service

Hello yet again network service friends,

As part of more work to sandbox the network service on Android, I'd like to switch the SQLite databases used in the network service to use a virtual filesystem (VFS) that I plan to implement. The proposed changes are documented here and I would like to request feedback for them.

These changes are hopefully fairly straightforward and this document is relatively short, and as usual I appreciate any feedback.
