Popup prompting in Chrome fow windows authentication

Hi Chromium team,

 

Can you Help me understanding why in Google Chrome my intranet applications that uses Windows authentication are prompting to enter the Windows credentials instead of allowing my users with the automatic authorization?. I have read that I need to set the AuthServerAllowlist to permit this behavior (automatic logon) yet I would like to understand if making this configuration avoids the prompt as my users need the SSO to bypass this authentication.

 

Is there an official document that explains this popup/prompt behavior in order to document and apply the necessary configurations to avoid it in my applications.

 

I have http and https intranet applications in which we want to avoid this “prompt”
