Status Update for mus+ash - 2/8/2019

Hi,
This is how the team is progressing. The team have enabled Single Process Mash on ToT(developer builds) this week but still waiting for a ChromeOS canary build. Overall the team is continuing to make good progress towards dev trials in M74.
Ash Refactoring
We split the ash refactoring into 2 milestones: running the mash window service in the browser process and supporting mash running in separate process. Overall, we are down to 188 ash includes with tests (vs 188 last week). Excluding test includes, we are at 63 (vs 63 last week).
Mash Window Service in the Browser Process (Status: Zarro bugs)
Currently this is enabled by default on ToT and waiting for a official ChromeOS release. Please let us know if you see any issues by filing a bug and tag the label Proj-Mash-SingleProcess. The team is actively monitoring and triaging any incoming issues.
Mash Window Service outside of the Browser Process (Status: In progress)
As the team winds down refactoring Single Process Mash, the team will be focused on burning down blockers for running Mash in a separate process. It is anticipated that the initial bug count will increase we correctly break down bugs for tracking.
