Codecs in CrOS

I cannot seem to find useful info anywhere, so here I am. Have sucessfully compiled chromium os with api keys and updated kernels but can't find how to enable codecs (using gn.arg arguments like with chromium browser doesn't work), Im not talking about widevine, just things like AC and mp4, mp3 etc.

IIRC, you need something like "USE=chrome_media" in the ChromeOS build configuration to get proprietary codecs enabled.

But how do i add args/ "USE" flag. ALl I can find is gn for chromium but not for chromium os
