Heya,

1. With Firefox Nightly, go to about:config, accept the risks, enter
"browser.tabs.remote.useCrossOriginOpenerPolicy" (sans quotes) and add
it as boolean (it'll default to true), restart, and then visit my
basic demo at https://hail-zephyr-1.glitch.me/.
2. ...
3. Profit!

It'd be great to get feedback on this.

Kind regards,

Anne

P.S.: Credit should go to Nika and Valentin, who made this all work.

Thanks!  This is cool to see.  I've confirmed that the links in the demo open in a new process with no opener or name.  (The link in the iframe says it should result in a network error, though, which I don't see in Firefox Nightly 67.0a1 (2019-03-04) (64-bit).)

Anyway, I think Artur and some folks are taking a look; I'll let them share any feedback they have.  We're still planning to implement a similar experimental mode in Chrome but haven't been able to get to it just yet.

Charlie

Yeah, I turned the demo into a test of sorts. We'll get that fixed.

Great, Artur provided some very helpful feedback already.
