Anze (CCed) is writing some unit tests for Mac that currently only work on Mac hardware.
We were wondering if any tryjobs/builders run MacOS in VMs, which would cause the tests to fail.
If so, is there a way to reliably detect MacOS when it is running in a VM?

Tests that are affected by such things generally aren't a good idea, since functional testing on Chrome's bots can generally be done on a variety of types/hardware.

But +Jonathan Pittman can speak to presence of VMs in Chrome's Mac testing fleet these days.
