Hi, I tried to install a test Image on EVE.

Add --enable-viz into  /etc/chrome_dev.conf . And add one line log in gpu_display_provider.cc.  How ever, the log doesn't appear in /home/chronos/user/log/.

Am I missing anything?

BTW, to read log from /home/chronos/user/log/ is not so friendly, does it possible to out log like android logcat? So that we can example logs at real time, no need to open/cat the log file.

provider.

Hi xing.xu,

When you say "enable viz" I think you mean enable OOP-D? Originally OOP-D was enabled via the flag --enable-viz. OOP-D is only part of the ongoing viz service work and we have since removed that flag and added a Chrome feature. You can enable OOP-D with the flag --enable-features=VizDisplayCompositor. However, OOP-D doesn't work on a Chrome OS device yet and I think your eve will crash on boot if you add the flag. It should work correctly on Windows, Linux and macOS.
