Any way to determine cause of WebGL context lost event?

I am working on a web app which uses WebGL. Sometimes customers report issues because a WebGL context is lost. Is there any way to determine the underlying cause of that event, or is that not generally possible? Do Chromium logs include anything related to the cause?
