Those browser had tons of more features too - something which is totally lacking in Chromium/Chrome/etc.
OK Vivaldi has been independently pushing quite a lot from the Chromium-base. It's a true wonder.
Extensions on Cromeium are simple, enabling only so very little. Chrome Store is full of gimmicky and make-believe extensions that more or less record browsing activity and demand the user to create an account to a service - inorder to get some flashy box junk wrapped as "feature" lol :D
Chromeium UI is a stagnation in stagnation.
Browsers weren't this limited not even 1999.
Sure I enjoy #pwa and everything around it.
I'm not to criticize. Vivaldi and Opera are doing great stuff with HTML5 - would be great to see extensions full of features and fluid UIs.
