What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open an email on gmail.com from "histogram-eraser via monorail" (this was the only kind of email with which I was able to repro).
(2) Triple-click on the histogram name to select the whole line.

What is the expected result?
The whole line should be selected and only it.


What happens instead?
The whole line is immediately selected but after a few moments the whole email contents are selected.

Could you try to above step with disabling JavaScript?
It seems some JavaScript codes are invoked during timer or another reason.
