PSA: @chrome-devtools/source-map-scopes-codec is now available

Hi all,

I'm excited to announce that we published a TypeScript library for encoding/decoding the source map "Scopes" proposal to GitHub and jsr.io.

The library will track the latest version of the "scopes" proposal as well as the final version once merged into the source map spec (Ecma426).

The library will also be used in Chrome DevTools to decode source-map scopes. The work to replace the existing prototype implementation with the library is underway and will happen over the next weeks.

If you want to use the library yourself, you can add it to your npm project via:

npx jsr add @chrome-devtools/source-map-scopes-codec
