Hello fellow mortals,

We realized we didn't have an automated way of being notified of log downtime as observed by Google, so we built a little service that checks https://www.gstatic.com/ct/compliance/endpoint_uptime.csv for us.

https://ct-uptime-alerts.fly.dev/geomys.org will return a 503 if any lines matching "geomys.org" have an uptime column below 99.95. We pointed our alerting service at it.

You can use it with any filter string, and it also takes a parameter like "?threshold=99.8". You're welcome to use our instance (no guarantees!), or you can run your own: https://github.com/FiloSottile/mostly-harmless/tree/main/ct-uptime-alerts

Cheers,
Filippo

Hello fellow 21st century endurers,

With the introduction of https://www.gstatic.com/ct/compliance/endpoint_uptime_24h.csv, we updated what used to be https://ct-uptime-alerts.fly.dev to use the 24h source and moved it to https://uptime.geomys.org/ct/. It otherwise works exactly the same.

We will be turning off https://ct-uptime-alerts.fly.dev in a month, please migrate off it and to https://uptime.geomys.org/ct/ (or self-host an instance).

Cheers,
Filippo
