fail to run GUI with crosvm

Using the following command to start ubuntu desktop image:

./crosvm run --cpus 4 --mem 4096 --disable-sandbox --gpu backend=2d --x-display :0 --display-window-mouse --tap-name crosvm_tap --rwdisk ./rootfs --initrd ./initrd.img-5.4.0-65-generic -p root=/dev/vda5 ./vmlinuz-5.4.0-65-generic

or:

./crosvm run --cpus 4 --mem 4096 --disable-sandbox --gpu backend=virglrenderer,width=1920,height=1080 --display-window-keyboard --display-window-mouse --tap-name crosvm_tap --rwdisk ./rootfs --initrd ./initrd.img-5.4.0-65-generic -p root=/dev/vda5 ./vmlinuz-5.4.0-65-generic

I will report:

[  OK  ] Started File System Check Daemon to report status.
[2022-10-28T14:30:45.461098791+08:00 ERROR devices::virtio::gpu] failed to open display: failed to connect to compositor

Using vnc could launch the VM successfully.

Hi lihua,

Even I am trying to boot desktop version using crosvm. But I am unable to get display only shell is booting up and even after booting if I use any graphics application inside I am unable to launch it error says no display. How to set up vnc for crosvm.

Please can anyone help me in resolving error .
