Forward/backward compatibility requirements

Hello,

Due to how our software is deployed and our preferred method of integrating Crashpad (one single handler process serving all clients), we find ourselves wondering what is Crashpad's compatibility model.  I couldn't find anything obvious in the existing documentation.

For example, does Crashpad have any requirements to:

1. Allow a client compiled against an older version of Crashpad to connect to a handler process from a newer version of Crashpad.
2. Allow a handler process from an older version of Crashpad to handle clients compiled against a newer version of Crashpad.
