Hey guys,

I just stumbled upon this doc that explains some migration points pretty nicely. The Polymer team also just published a spec for how they intend to do custom element inheritance, or really just composition via super-mixins called "Behaviors":

Take a look for future reference. Tyler and I are looking into the right way to deal with this in the compiler. I'll also be sending out some more details about the 0.8 conversion plan soon.
