Hello, I am trying to use a VPN with my Chromebook and so many fail, either through built in wireguard protocol or through Android apps.

Each of these that fail do not work because of an issue with ipv6. The only one that does work is an OpenVPN server that works over ipv4.

I am aware that ipv6 can be an issue with my network, not the device, but I have ruled that out as this problem persists across multiple networks, while other devices on the same network have no issue.

I have resolved that my Chromebook reports both an internal and external ipv6 address.

The VPNs I'm using are PairVPN, MEGA VPN (and trying through wireguard as built in and through app) or any other protocol besides OpenVPN.

Is there something I can do to use VPNs on Chromebook? As you can see I;ve done a lot of research and am pretty inclined with these things but these issues only exist with my Chromebook.

Yes, I am also fully updated and on dev channel with no major flags.

If anybody can help please let me know.

Sarah
