New Idea for the UI

Hey,
just seconds ago, i had an idea how to improve the UI from Chrome/
Chromium. You could combine the Adress-Bar and the Tab-Bar:
Only the Tab-Bar will alive. When you click on the Tab, the other Tabs
got shrinked and you see the Adress after the Site-Title. When you
click on a specified Button or on the Site the Adress will disappear
and all Tabs are seen like just before.
How´s the idea?

I'm hoping they revamp the UI at some point. I like your idea. Tabs
could shrink like pinned items except on the right instead of the
left.

I have at any given time around 100 tabs open across 6 windows. I only
open new windows because I like to at least see the site Icons, as
there is not enough space for the site name text in the tab. So if the
idea is as I think you mean, to use the extra space in the tab then
for me it would not work. But I do like the idea of the address bar
appearing when you click the tab then disappearing when it looses
focus. This would be a auto hide of sorts for the address bar. I think
it might be too much for many users, especially new to chrome users.
But would be a great advanced feature.
