Hi,
I currently have a 2-in-1 convertible chromebook. When in tablet mode, I find it cumbersome that if I want to go into full screen mode on android apps (and sometimes via the browser/chrome apps), I have to flip out the keyboard, hit the fullscreen button and then flip the screen back over to put it back into tablet mode.
Could a feature be implemented so that when in tablet mode there is a full screen toggle? Perhaps by adding a full screen icon to the right side of the title bar where maximize/minimize/close currently exists? To add to that, maybe even add a swipe up gesture at the top edge of the tablet to toggle full screen mode on the app that currently has focus (in the same manner I can swipe up from the bottom of the screen to toggle visibility of the shelf).
Expanding on the same swipe concept, could this same behavior be added to the right hand side of the screen to turn system (not app) volume up/down? Basically, if in full screen mode, run your finger up/down along the right edge of the screen to adjust system volume. Maybe do this same thing on the left edge of the screen for brightness.
As for some other suggestions:
1. Can there be an option in settings and/or via the right click menu to auto alphabetize apps in the launcher?
2. When in full screen mode, have new notifications show up for a few seconds in the bottom right hand corner for a few seconds and then fade away if not clicked on.
3. When in full screen mode, swiping up to toggle the shelf shouldn't force the window out of full screen and into the maximize state unless you physically launch another app that you place in full screen mode (thus taking precedent)
4. When in any mode, the sound/video currently cuts out/pauses in an app when a newly launched app takes focus. Pause the video/sound from the background app only if the newly launched app with focus begins playing video/audio (unless previously running app is minimized to begin with - so music apps like spotify continue to play music in the background regardless of what happens in the foreground).
5. When an app goes from full screen state to a maximize state and vice versa, the video/audio gets paused forcing you to hit play to resume the video/audio.
Thanks!
